Jim Powell James E. Powell is the editor of The Office Letter. He was formerly the Managing Editor, Reviews for Winmag.com, and Senior Technology Editor at WINDOWS Magazine. Jim is the author of seven computer books, including books on Windows, Microsoft Access, and Lotus Approach. He has worked as a technical trainer, mainframe systems manager, and programmer during his career. A long-time user of both the Microsoft and WordPerfect office suites, Jim also has extensive experience with Windows programs, including productivity add-ons, and is the author of over 900 software and hardware reviews.
Dick Archer Contributing Editor Dick Archer is a freelance writer and Information Systems consultant specializing in emerging technologies for business. Dick has been involved with computers and computer systems for more than 30 years, developing applications for scientific, process control and business clients. Steve Hansen In addition to being a contributing editor to The Office Letter, Steve Hansen is the chief zealot at OfficeZealot.com, a community Web site for Office developers. Steve has been enthusiastically developing Office solutions for over a decade. He has written two books on Microsoft Excel, Mastering Excel 2000 Premium Edition, a comprehensive guide to Microsoft Excel published by Sybex in 1999 (co-authored with Mindy Martin and Beth Klinger) and Mastering Excel 2003 Programming with VBA, published by Sybex in 2004. Steve holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
